Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2025IntroductionThis Privacy Policy explains how Cruise N Crush (the “Game,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play our iOS game, which is distributed only in the United States. The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number. Instead, we rely on technical identifiers (for example, device IDs) and limited analytics data to operate and improve the Game. We follow applicable U.S. data‑privacy laws—including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) where it applies—and adopt industry best practices for transparency and security.By using the Game, you agree to the data practices described here.---Information We CollectWe collect data sparingly and only as needed for the Game’s functionality and services. All data is collected either automatically from your device or through third-party SDKs integrated in the app. No personal contact information (such as your name, address, or contact details) is collected unless you contact us directly by phone or email outside of the Game. The types of information we do collect include:* Unique Device Identifiers – A device‑specific identifier such as the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) or a randomly generated UUID lets us distinguish players, track progress, and link purchases without knowing who you are.
* Usage and Analytics Data – Our analytics services automatically log in‑game events (e.g., levels completed, session duration, button taps) and basic device information (model, OS version, IP address). This data is aggregated so we can understand engagement and improve features.
* In‑App Purchase & Subscription Data – When you buy or subscribe, we record the product ID, price tier, and purchase date. Apple processes payments; we never see your card details.
* Location Data (optional) – If you grant iOS location permission, the Game may collect precise GPS coordinates to support location‑based features or geo‑targeted ads. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time.
* Crash Reports & Diagnostics – If the app crashes, our crash‑reporting service captures a log (device model, OS, stack trace) tied to an anonymous installation ID to help us fix the bug.
* User Communications – If you contact us directly—such as by emailing our support address—we receive any personal information you include (for example, your email address and message contents). We use this only to respond and keep customer‑support records.
* Device‑Permission Status – We note whether you granted notifications or location access so the Game can respect your choices.
---How We Collect Data* Automatic collection – Identifiers, analytics, crash logs, and location (if allowed) flow automatically from the device or SDKs as you play.
* User‑initiated collection – Purchases occur when you tap a purchase or subscription button; emails are collected only when you choose to write to us.
---How We Use Information* App Functionality & Personalisation – Device IDs keep your progress, settings, and entitlements intact. Location (if provided) enables the user to log the location of items they collect in the Game.
* Analytics & Improvement – Our analytics services aggregate gameplay metrics so we can balance levels, spot bugs, and decide what to build next.
* Purchases – Purchase data unlocks content you paid for and lets you restore it if you reinstall.
* Advertising – We show ads with Google AdMob. AdMob uses device identifiers, usage data, and (optionally) location to serve ads.
* We do not directly provide Google with your name, email, or other contact details. However, when we share your device’s advertising identifier with AdMob to show ads, Google may combine that identifier with information it already has about you from other apps, websites, or Google services, in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of this linkage by denying iOS tracking permission.
* Crash Reporting – Diagnostic logs help us reproduce and fix stability issues.
* Legal & Safety – We may disclose information as required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
* Business Transfers – If we merge, sell assets, or restructure, user data may transfer to the successor solely so the Game continues to function.
We never sell data to data brokers or use it for unrelated marketing.---Third‑Party Services and Sharing of InformationWe do not sell your personal information to data brokers or use it for unrelated marketing. However, we do share certain data with third parties when it is necessary to operate the app and provide our services to you:* RevenueCat (Purchase & Subscription Management) – Receives the device/user identifier and purchase receipts to verify and restore entitlements.
* Mixpanel (Analytics) – Receives an anonymous user ID and event data to generate usage insights.
* Firebase Services (Google LLC) – We use Firebase services, including analytics, crash reporting, and remote configuration.
* Data shared: identifiers (IDFV or advertising ID), device info, usage events, crash logs, configuration context.
* Purpose: aggregated engagement metrics, crash diagnostics, feature‑flag delivery.
* Privacy: We do not share your name or email with Google. When our app sends your device’s advertising identifier to Firebase analytics or AdMob, Google may combine that identifier with data it holds elsewhere to personalise ads. Disable this by refusing iOS tracking permission or toggling off Ads Personalisation in the Game.
* AdMob (Google LLC) – Serves ads and may build an ad profile from device identifiers and usage data. If you deny tracking, AdMob does not receive an identifier that it can link to your use in other apps or web sites and shows contextual ads.
Changes to ProvidersWe may replace or add service providers that perform the same function (e.g., switch analytics or crash‑reporting vendors) without materially changing how your data is handled. When this happens, we will update this Privacy Policy.---Your Rights and ChoicesWe comply with the privacy rights available under applicable state laws. — California and other eligible residents can exercise their Do Not Sell or Share, Access, and Deletion rights by emailing us at [email protected]. Please include enough detail for us to verify the request and locate the data.We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.---Opt‑Out of Advertising (All Users)* Personalised Ads – On iOS, you control ad personalisation through Apple’s privacy prompt. If you tap “Ask App Not to Track” (or turn off tracking later in Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Tracking), the Game passes no advertising identifier to AdMob, and only non‑personalised ads are shown.
* Location – You can withhold or revoke location permission in iOS settings. Without it, location‑targeted ads and location-related features in the Game are disabled.
---Data SecurityWe use HTTPS, access controls, and other safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is 100 % secure, but we regularly review security measures and minimise what we collect.---Data Retention* Analytics Data: kept for up to 60 months by Mixpanel. After that, the data may be aggregated or deleted. We don’t keep identifiable analytics data indefinitely.
* Crash Logs: retained for roughly 90 days by Firebase Crashlytics.
* Purchase Data: We keep purchase records for as long as you have the app or any active subscriptions, and for a period after (for instance, to allow restoring purchases).
* Backups: Some data may persist in secure backups for a short additional time before being fully deleted.
* Support emails Emails that you send to us may be kept for up to 5 years.
We delete or anonymise data when no longer needed or when you request deletion (subject to lawful exceptions).---Children’s PrivacyWe do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The Game and its content are not directed to children under 13, and we design our app with the intent that it appeals to a general audience. If we learn we have inadvertently gathered such data, we will delete it promptly. By playing, you confirm you are at least 13 years old.---Changes to This Privacy PolicyWe may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, services, or practices. Material changes will be announced in‑app or on our website. Check the “Last updated” date for the latest version. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices.---Contact UsDisparate Elements LLC
